This week, at La Faktoria, we celebrate the start of a new phase of our 2024-2025 International Program. We are thrilled to open our doors to the 20 talented participants of the Training Program and the 9 innovators in the Creators program, who together form the seventh generation (GEN 7) of our artistic community.
This year, our students bring an unparalleled wealth of cultural and creative diversity, arriving from Japan, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Russia, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, and from the regions of Valencia, Murcia, Catalonia, Euskadi, and Navarra. Each one of them brings a unique story, perspective, and energy, making La Faktoria a meeting point for diverse viewpoints and approaches within contemporary dance.
Opening Day was a day of excitement and anticipation, where new students had the chance to meet, share their motivations, and begin immersing themselves in the world of contemporary dance. From now on, they will embark on an intense journey of exploration and learning, guided by renowned artists and educators, in an environment that fosters experimentation and collaboration.
To all members of GEN 7, we warmly welcome you and encourage you to make the most of every moment of this transformative experience. This new course promises growth and discovery, both personally and artistically. We are ready to accompany you on this journey and watch your ideas take shape and push the boundaries of contemporary creation.
