Audiovisual creation residency

This residency emerges from the collaboration between the French dance company R14, the Zinetika Festival and La Faktoria CC. Its aim is to promote the creation of videodance audiovisual works together with the students of La Faktoria’s Creators group, under the guidance of choreographer Julien Grosvalet, visual artist Laura Colmenares and Laida Aldaz herself, co-director of the centre and audiovisual artist.

Previously, Arena Productions, a Navarre-based production company specialized in documentary filmmaking and immersive audiovisual creation, will deliver a one-week technical course focused on videodance.

The students participating in this residency will conceive, film and post-produce one-minute videodance works under the guidance of these professionals. The films will tour as part of the Zinetika Festival’s Student Films section and will be screened at:

• 10/12/26: Trueba Cinemas, San Sebastián
• 12/12/26: Civican, Pamplona
• 13/12/26: Guggenheim Museum, Bilbao
