FINAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The 20TH of May 2025 the candidate of the auditions will receive an email with the results. La Faktoria will let them know if they have a place in our Center and in which program. The direction will consider the candidate’s choice of Program but at the same time will take into account their capacities for it in order to offer them a place.

FEE OF THE PROGRAM 2024-2025

•€6000: Full payment within the registration deadline (includes €1000 registration fee).
•€6400: Two installments (€2700 each, plus €1000 registration fee).

La Faktoria does not offer scholarships. Participants are encouraged to seek regional, state, or private funding.

PAYMENT METHOD AND DEADLINES

•20th May 2025: Candidates receive confirmation emails.
•2nd June 2025: Deadline to pay the €1000 registration fee.

Participants may choose to pay the tuition fee:
1.One installment (€5000) by 21st July 2025.
2.Two installments (€2700 each): First by 21st July 2025, second by 1st October 2025.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROGRAMS 2025-2026

THE PROGRAMS WILL HAVE A TOTAL AMOUNT OF 37 WEEKS:

They will start the 6TH of October 2025 and will finish the 19TH of June 2026

Holiday periods:

  • 2´5 weeks Holiday in December 2025
  • 1 week Holiday in February 2026
  • 2 weeks Holiday in Spring 2026

La Faktoria offers 2 different programs:

TRAINING PROGRAM is aimed at students of 18 years and over who wish to dedicate themselves to become professional dancers. The Training program participants will build a strong technical base working with numerous International Teachers and at the same time will grow in their creative universe to allow all their capacities to reach a maximum level and get ready for a professional life as a dancer and mover.

TRAINING PROGRAM

THIS PROGRAM IS ORGANISED AS A COMBINATION OF 5 DIFFERENT STRUCTURES:

  1. GUEST WEEKS
  2. MONOGRAPHIC-LAB WEEKS
  3. CONNECTED CREATIVE WEEKS
  4. TEC. WEEKS
  5. CREATION WEEKS

Classes, workshops, creative weeks, labs and creation weeks are running from Monday to Friday.

1.GUEST WEEKS
Combination of technique classes and workshops:

Morning classes from 9:30 to 11:00 of techniques such as:

– Ballet for Contemporary dancers
– Release technique
– Floor work
– Improvisation
– Yoga and Body Weather

(These techniques will be divided through the program in various combinations taking into consideration the physicality required from the Workshop):

After the technique classes:

Workshops with guest teachers from 11:15 to 17:15 with one hour of lunch break
Each guest teacher comes to LA FAKTORIA for a 3-week period or a 2-week period
Some of these workshops have an open showing at the end of the process in La Faktoria studios.

  1. MONOGRAPHIC LAB WEEKS

Choreographers Labs from 10:00 to 17:00 with one our lunch.

These weeks will be monographic. The Choreographer will organize the day with their own warm-up practice. The participants will have the opportunity to be immersed in the universe of the choreographer invited to the program.

Each choreographer comes to LA FAKTORIA for a 3-or 2-week period.

Some of these workshops have an open showing at the end of the process in La Faktoria studios.

 3.CONNECTED CREATIVE WEEKS FOR PERSONAL WORK

Designed to provide the space and time for participants to create their personal work, take part in a collective creative process, or be directed by participants of the Creators Program.

There are two studios in La Faktoria and six additional studios located throughout Pamplona.

  1. TEC. WEEKS

During Tec. Weeks, there will be Tec. classes from 9:30 to 17:00 in different combinations, depending on the schedule.

These weeks are designed to enhance the physical and technical capacity of the participants.

During the Guest Weeks, Monographic Lab Weeks, and Tec. Weeks, participants can continue creating their personal work after the daily schedule. Studio availability is from 17:30 to 21:00 in La Faktoria studios.

  1. CREATIVE TRIMESTER WITH CHOREOGRAPHERS:

During the last trimester of the program, participants will engage in a creative process.

The choreographer leading this creative process will be Daniel Abreu, an internationally renowned Spanish artist.
The goal of the last trimester is to give participants the experience of working under the direction of a choreographer, creating a piece, and developing the professional tools needed in today’s dance companies.

The piece will have a five-week creation process, with the final result performed in a theater.
The choreographer will organize the daily schedule based on the specific needs of their creation.

CREATORS PROGRAM is aimed at participants aged 18 and over who are interested in becoming movers and dance makers. This program provides the space and infrastructure needed to develop diverse choreographic profiles. It also encourages participants to refine their artistic language and creative paths through reflection, questioning, and guided research.

  1. RESEARCH LAB WEEKS:

Choreographers’ labs are held from 10:00 to 17:00, with a one-hour lunch break.

The choreographer organizes the day, including their own warm-up practices. Participants immerse themselves in a research lab guided by the invited choreographer.

Each choreographer works with participants for a two-week period.

  1. TEC. AND THEORY WEEKS

These weeks include different combinations of Tec. and Theory classes, held from 9:30 to 17:00.

The focus is on improving participants’ physical and technical capacity. Theory classes, such as management, dossier structures, and audiovisual techniques, are also included.

 4.CREATIVE WEEKS FOR PERSONAL WORK

Designed to provide participants with space and time to create.

The directors of La Faktoria and Bertha Bermudez oversee artistic coaching and studio organization.

Each participant can create two pieces during the year:
Small Format: A solo or duo creation
Big Format: A group piece created collectively or directed by one or more participants.

The final creations will be presented in June 2024.

During the Guest Weeks, Research Lab Weeks, and Tec. and Theory Weeks, participants can continue creating personal work after the daily schedule. Studios are available from 17:30 to 21:00. Training program dancers are free to participate in the processes directed by creators during these hours.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

HOUSING IN PAMPLONA

Participants are requested to find and pay for their own housing the entire duration of the program.
Some participants share apartments together. Once the candidates have been chosen in the auditions and their registration has been confirmed, la Faktoria facilitates their contact among each other to find their own housing.
Participants must arrange and pay for their housing. Shared apartment rents range from €350–€400/month.

EVALUATION MEETINGS

The program has an evaluation period in February/March 2025
If the evaluation is positive and the participants show strong artistic interest to stay in our center, they can stay at La Faktoria a maximum of 3 consecutive programs.
Participants of the Training program can stay another year to follow the Creators program.
Participants of the Training program can stay a second year in the training program and a third year in the Creators program.
Participants of Creators program can stay a second year in the program.

ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE

At the end of the programs the participants will obtain an Attendance Certificate signed by La Faktoria direction. The Choreographer and the teacher names plus the titles of their workshops will be certified in this document.

LANGUAGE

All classes and workshops are in English.
Candidates to participate in the program should be fluent in English to be able to understand the work and be able to express their ideas about it. The English level suggested corresponds to the B1 Official Language system.
